Celebrity makeup artist, Allison Kaye, boasts clientele such as Simone Biles, Donna Kelce, and many NFL, NBA, and MLB wives and girlfriends. Social media has been a powerful tool that has allowed her to grow to over 100,000 followers and work with brands such as Nars, Sephora, and even the Cleveland Cavaliers. I have had the absolute time of my life getting to create content for her at her glam sessions and events. Email campaigns, filming and editing TikToks, branding packets, and event planning are all a part of my job description.

As a grassroots candidate for Ohio’s 3rd congressional district, Matthew Meade provided the opportunity to Ohio State students to take on their very first political campaign. I was in my third year of my Dual Degree program studying Fashion and Anthropology when I earned a spot on his campaign’s marketing team. Matthew challenged me to create the branding, logos, social media posts, physical media, and even the website for the campaign (while simultaneously learning about these subjects in my coursework). Excited for this opportunity, I got to work.
